 | | | | | | So it’s 80° out and you are bringing your baby home from the hospital, too hot for a hat right? Wrong! Newborn babies lose heat easily and experience temperature instability, especially from their head. That’s why it’s important to remember no matter how hot it may seem out side to you, a newborn baby should always have a hat on their head. Mind you it doesn’t need to be of the heavy knit variety, a simple cotton beanie will do nicely! We also have hats for every season. In the summer we carry brimmed sunhats, some of which have UV protection. Cotton is usually preferable for breath ability on those steamy summer days. In the winter you will be able to find a variety of warm and cozy winter hats. In the winter hats with ear flaps are preferable as they will protect little ears from any harsh winds. This is a fun part of the program and an easy way to make a fashion statement. In the summer they seem to get lost very easily so set your munchkin up with a healthy supply.
