WeeHands: Introduction to Baby Sign Language
Four Consecutive Thursdays,
starting Thursday, April 7th 10:00-11:00am
-Fun, interactive, and definitely hands on, this 4 week seminar will teach you, the caregiver, basic signs to sign with your little one and open up a world of communication.
-Throughout the 4 weeks, you will learn:
-6 songs to sign and sing to your baby
-A minimum of 75 ASL signs taught
-Language strategies appropriate for this age also discussed.
-Infants welcome to attend
-You will be given a take-home, easy to follow manual
-$85 for 4 consecutive classes-A minimum of 75 ASL signs taught
-Facilitator: Carolina Alvarez. A graduate of the Early Childhood Education program at Ryerson University in Toronto, Carolina is deeply interested in all aspects of children's development. She has been studying American Sign Language since 2007.
